Dr. Simmons is a dedicated naturopathic physician and a creative force in the emerging wellness industry. For the past 8 years, she has devoted her clinical expertise to her practice, Asarum Natural Healthcare located in Montclair and Denville, NJ. By integrating a full complement of natural health modalities such as nutraceuticals, herbs and homeopathy, Dr. Simmons has developed an exceptionally loyal patient following. Her creative spirit and entrepreneurial talents led her to be the founder of a wellness program for moms, Spa Moms. With her commitment to teaching the next generation of practitioners, she facilitated an elective course in Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry- New Jersey. A graduate of the prestigious Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, she received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Degree with advanced training in midwifery/women's health. And as an industry consultant, she worked on developing Organic Ketchup for Heinz Industries and a line of green tea products for the Lipton Corporation. Dr. Simmons is certified as a Professional Coach from the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching (Manalapan, NJ) and is a member of both the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the National Association for Nutritional Professionals.
