Perry Krichmar, M.D.

Senior Medical Advisor

Perry Krichmar, M.D., is a Senior Medical Advisor for the nEI and co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of EliteHealth, where he manages the Wellness and Prevention Center. Dr. Krichmar's main interest includes the management of lipid disorders and preventive cardiology/medicine. He is very active in teaching physicians about the latest trends in cholesterol management and cardiovascular risk prevention strategies, and is one of the industry's foremost experts in CAT scan screening for heart disease

Dr. Krichmar is a native New Yorker and grew up in Monsey, N.Y. After graduating from SUNY Binghamton, he attended Long Island University where he obtained his master’s degree in biomedical sciences. He then attended Spartan Health Sciences University and graduated in 1986 in the top 10 percent of his class. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Griffin Hospital in Derby, Conn. This program was affiliated with Yale University school of Medicine, where almost a year of his training was spent at Yale New Haven Hospital. He then moved to Miami Beach, and completed his cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology.
