Steven A. Schnur, M.D., is a Senior Medical Advisor for the nEI and founder and president of EliteHealth LLC. Founded in 1992, EliteHealth specializes in preventative medicine on a nationwide level. One of EliteHealth's focuses is in the field of Concierge medicine, which is amongst the fastest growing medical trends in the country. The company was established to assist physicians and institutions in providing the highest level of care to patients. EliteHealth's technology and patient membership solutions are designed to help medical practices to increase revenues and improve their quality of care. EliteHealth's solutions constitute potential for both physicians and patients, and have been effectively implemented in various medical practices throughout the country.

Born in Queens, N.Y., Schnur studied at State University of New York from 1977-1981, where he earned his bachelor's of science degree in biochemistry and graduated first in his class.  He attended the University of Miami from 1981-1985, where he obtained an academic scholarship for full tuition from the board of trustees, earning his medical degree. He received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiology in 1991, and also in 2001.
